This is my Blog. A little bit about the top photo collage: In the middle of the page we have Great Grandma (Schwager) with our daughter, Isabella, when she was just a few days sold. Then, to the left, starting at the far left and going clockwise: My dad with Isabella (again at the hospital when she was only a few days old), Isabella at home in a fanciful mood, my wife Daniela sees no evil, her sister Gabi hears no evil, and mom Violeta speaks no evil. Then Matt, my nephew and godson at a floor hockey game, and finally Daniela with Isabella. To the right of Great Grandma, starting at the top and clockwise: The 6 Venezuelans and 1 American; partying at our house on New Years’ Eve 2006. Daniela is in the bedroom at this time having contractions. I am taking the photo (ever the attentive husband). In the photo we have Zurdo (Rafael) with his wife Tricia, Gabi, Gustavo (Gabi’s husband and our brother-in-law), Chabela (Gustavo’s sister), Jesus (her husband), and squeezed in below Chabela we have Jesus Eduardo, their son. Then there’s Daniela and Isabella with me poking my funny face into the camera. Isabella is about 30 seconds old at that time. Mom and Dad are overwhelmed with joy. Finally, Violeta and Daniela enjoying a moment at our house in the kitchen. Isabella’s arrival is only about 10 hours away at that point- little did we know!!!
